awful. waited 1/2 hour after ordering to get meals, 2 country fried steak w/hash browns, 1 eggs Benedict w/hash browns. order came with skinned over sauces and cold hash browns. poached eggs were over done. country steak was cold. $50+bill+tip. no satisfaction from management, one of those " we do no wrong " places, apparently 1/2 hour wait times are the norm for their kitchen much much better diners around with better food, service, prices and ambiance.

Nice neighborhood spot for breakfast. Large portions, weekend brunch buffet was reasonably priced. The pancakes are enormous and the home fries got the Irish girlfriend's stamp of approval! Worth a visit...

Very disappointed this morning. Hash and eggs, out of can. Service was good, coffee just fair. Did not experience large portions?? $13 for two large poached eggs and hash. Won't return, suggest Green Owle other side of 95!

The worst....the place had a smell as soon as you walked it...outdoor tables were dirty....the service was good but the food was awful....too bad nice help in such a dump

good diner food... portions a bit out of control - a lot of waste of food! This may sound silly, but does a plate of food really need to be like 3 servings worth? It was a bit much.

Just moved to Boynton and took my company to the Boynton Diner for our first, and now LAST time. My breakfast of Pecan French Toast was burnt on the bottom. My company ordered poached eggs medium and med rare steak tips. She got hard poached eggs and a strip steak. Both well done. Not even what she ordered!!!! They were sent back and not real steak tips but just cut up steak and eggs are again well done. My husbands bacon was cold and very chewy. The Bill was $59 and change and that wasn't with the tip. I still left 20% for the waitress. Worst breakfast ever!!!!

Here is my long over due review from Father's Day. My sister and I went here as it is close by and we heard good things about it. Due to my veganism I ordered a fruit plate, which was huge, and an order of potatoes. She ordered the special breakfast buffet they had that morning. The buffet had a variety of food. She had a nice sample of eggs, pancakes, biscuits, fruits, breakfast pizza, etc. She doesn't eat meat and mentioned that the guy in charge of the buffet was very helpful and told her what would be safe to eat. It was a fun and relaxed place to eat and I would go back there again.

Great local diner with a very diverse menu. Great option for a weekend brunch. But be prepared as it's cash only.

I was told by a friend that this place ruled for breakfast. Being that I love diners, I decided to give it a try. PROS: -Easy access from I-95. -My sausage, pancakes, and eggs were all hot and tasted good. -You can eat outside with your dog. -Huge portions. CONS: -The service wasn't the quickest. -Avoid sitting anywhere near the kitchen. The servers and cooks constantly bicker with each other. It makes for a stressful meal. -My wife asked for dry toast. They messed this request up, twice. -A fly decided to do the backstroke in my wife's coffee. -The home fries were very undercooked and cold. -The veggie omelet was very oily. -The place was very humid. I had sweat dripping down my legs at the end of the meal. -Cash only? Really? It's 2012. Of course they conveniently have an ATM machine next to the cash register. This way, they get cash, and I imagine they get a cut of the ATM convenience fee. $25 (not including tip) for a "so so" breakfast for two people is not my idea of awesome. I will not be back.

This is a local diner with great food. I've never been disappointed. I ordered the hash brown casserole with a biscuit. It consisted of hash browns, bacon, cheese, eggs all smothered in sausage gravy. There was enough for two meals and the biscuit was home made, grilled and buttered. A definite must do when in Boynton but they're only open for breakfast and lunch.

I really enjoy the Boynton Diner, I've been coming here for years and have never had a disappointing meal. They have out of this world specials on the weekends- think decadent specialty pancakes & French toast, eggs Benedict, and a mimosa or Bloody Mary - yes, they have a bar! Beer & some cocktails, cash or check only, but there is an ATM on site. They have a delicious sweet southern style coke slaw, Kelly's special recipe!

I went with my wife a few days ago with a restaurant.com coupon for lunch. Let it be said that this was a great experience. When we arrived we were asked by no less that 3 waitresses if we wanted a drink. Our server Shorty was bubblily, informative and very responsive. We then ordered a big bird turkey sandwich and a phily cheese steak. The big bird lived up to its name as a HUGE delicious turkey sandwich. My cheese steak was also very good.We also ordered a soda and a seltzer. The soda was about the size of a double gulp and was huge. The only downside here was the fact that they charged for the seltzer as a soda. The price to value ratio here is way above average for this type of restaurant.Other than that it was an excellent experience and I am left wondering why we do not have diners like this at home.

Tasty diner food, a cut above the usual diner. Food was fresh, well prepared and cooked to perfection. Nothing fancy but a few surprises (mahi with a roasted tomato relish and couscous). Reasonably priced but cash only, so bring your greenbacks. Check their website for daily specials.

Great breakfast spot but be prepared to wait on the weekends as they have quite the following and for good reason. My wife and I probably go here for breakfast twice a month and are always impressed with what we order, not a bad meal in the three or four visits so far. Most recently I had the "Spicy Spanish" omelette. Huge portion and just the right kick of spice for breakfast. The fruit salad was quite soggy and watered down and really turned me off to eating it, but the omelette was filling on it's own. I've had the "Breakfast Chicken Quesadilla" and not only is it delicious, it is LARGE! You are being warned now, don't add any sides or indulge on toast or other bread products, this is a tough one to finish. Very delicious, came out hot and was such a unique breakfast item. i will have this again some time in the future. My one true complaint is the LENGTH of their menu! Not only do you have two pages packed with traditional breakfast dishes, then you face a double-sided menu with approximately 50 more choices. Sometimes less is more. But as I write this, I'm reminded about all of the awesome dishes I've had so maybe it's not! The "Meatlover's Frittata", the "Italian Frittata" and all of the crepes and different types of pancakes and french toast my wife has enjoyed, I guess the menu is just right! A lot of unique dishes, go soon and enjoy and remember to bring CASH!!!

We went on a Sunday. Don't go on a Sunday. Way too crowded. The buffet stops at 2:00pm but they stop putting much out after 1:30p. Not cool. The portions are huge, and the food is pretty good, but the presentation is really unappetizing. The burned tuna melts tasted good but looked like they had survived a Will Smith post-apocalypse flick. The menu has some interesting items. Nothing comes with much of anything in the way of sides, so it's more expensive than it looks. Servers were good but the kitchen is SLOW. There is kitschy tacky and then there is that kind of Trash tacky. Here it's the latter. The decor is late 20th century Walmart. As busy as they are, they can afford to look less like the banjo boy from Deliverance did the decorating. Maybe call the makeover gal from Restaurant Impossible. They lose another full star for the cash only game. I'm sorry, but this isn't Germany. Make plastic available and take your lumps on the 2-3%. As Paul T rightly points out, there are a lot of diners out there. I avoid the Pelican in Lake Worth for much the same reason. Cash-only is a hassle. While Howleys remains the king of Palm Beach County diners. This is its one-toothed cousin Earl.

Avoid the spaghetti and meatball lunch special....it was tomato paste, cold and dried pasta and tasteless meatballs....am surprised as the buffet a few weeks ago was intriguing.

The Boynton Diner is not just your average diner in the South Florida area. Upon entering, I was immediately treated like a regular, even though it was my first time. The hostess was phenomenal and seated us promptly. The list of specials was very diverse for breakfast, and everything sounded great. My only complaint was there was TOO MUCH to choose from, which is not even a bad thing! I chose the Banana Nut Pancake special, which featured 3 enormous pancakes that tasted great. The home squeezed OJ was also a great feature to the meal. Dollar for dollar, this meal fit the bill and more. Great value, great atmosphere. Boynton Diner is a must try for anyone in the area.

Your parents always told you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Like many of us I tend to forget that tidbit as I get older. But the Boynton Diner is my reminder that I should eat good for the first meal of the day. I had seen the Boynton Diner for years in it's spot there on Woolbright and Federal but never went in until maybe a year and a half ago. It now is my favorite place for a hearty breakfast. The atmosphere is much like a traditional diner but with some Florida flare added to things. The menu is rather huge with many specialty items on there like pineapple upside down pancakes and breakfast sliders. But if you are the typical eggs and toast person with a side of bacon don't fear. There are plenty of the traditional items on there. You'd be hard pressed to not find something you would enjoy. My favorite dish is the country fried steak and eggs. The steak is a nice big piece with plenty of gravy. The home fries are absolute must as your potato choice. The service is pretty fast but not ultra personable. They are almost always busy so that may be the contributing factor to not much chit chat. Be sure to bring cash as they do not accept credit cards. I still have a hard time with businesses that still don't accept credit cards in 2012, especially ones that have been around this long. But in the end the Boynton Diner is my absolute favorite spot for breakfast. Whether it is a weekend morning after a long night before or a quick stop on the way to work I can't say enough good things about the food comes out of here. If you find yourself wanting to listen to mom or dad more I say you become acquainted with this establishment.

Despite its trailer park ennui, the Boynton Diner is kind of fun to hit up for an out-of-the-ordinary and creative breakfast. It's one of those places that names their dishes -- "The Southern," "The Italian Benny," you get the idea. I've tried The Northern, The San Juan and a couple others I can't recall -- all have been pretty good if not slightly too over the top for their own good. So many choices you could eat here every day for a month and not have the same thing twice. With a twist on the traditional Eggs Benedict, The Northern features a couple poached eggs on grilled ham on thick slices of toasted marble rye with rosemary hollandaise. The San Juan puts eggs on top of a grilled chicken breast with poblano peppers and cheese. Both were tasty as hell but came in Paul Bunyan proportions. Top it all off with some hashbrowns for a complete seven-deadly-sin experience. They have pancakes, French toast, frittatas and other typical breakfast meals. Next on my list are the pineapple upside-down pancakes topped with Meyer's rum butter. Holy shit, that would sound good served on a spare tire. Been here for dinner a couple times, and there are plenty of dinner specials to go with the regular menu items, but I prefer breakfasts here, hands down. Try one of the more creative ones. It may be too creative, but half the fun is trying new things. Just remember to bring your cash, because they don't take plastic.

Awesome breakfast spot in Boynton. They serve lunch and dinner too, but I never make it there late enough in the day. I'm too excited for breakfast! Once you go there, you'll wonder how you have been missing out on this yummy little place. We really like sitting outside on the patio and enjoying a nice Florida breeze while we get our breakfast on. My husband loves the jalapeno bacon sliders. I'm a fan of all things breakfast and this place does not disappoint. Get there early or be prepared to wait for a bit. It's a cash only place, but there's a Bank of America in the parking lot. Their website has weekly coupons you can print and bring in. They also usually have half price gift certificates on localdines.com .

Came here with the whole family today.. I don't tend to really like hole in the wall Diner's but it was recommended and since the family was going and I wasn't paying I figured what the hell... The Atmosphere looks like your typical Diner the Service was Great very friendly staff and the food was very very good I would give 5 stars for the Food and Portion size but since the Atmosphere could be better I took a Star off.. The Menu had a lot of options with a Ton of Specials and the Portions are ridiculously Huge.. I got the Low-Cal Frittata and it was very very good I only ate half of it because the portions were so big.. Everyone else loved their meals and everyone had leftovers.. I totally recommend this place if you want a good quality meal at a good price..

Husband and I vacation here each year and each year, we visit Boynton Diner for breakfast daily! Lively characters seem to frequent the diner. The food is great and the prices are average. Portions are good too. Waitstaff aren't always the friendliest, most seem to be dispaced NY'ers. Nothing against NY'ers, but they aren't the friendliest by nature......

I came back. The best thing to order is the jalapeño bacon and the multi-grain bread. Both are delicious. Seriously, just get that. Their breakfast specials are very good and also worth trying. Service can be pretty bad at times, but whatever. The jalapeño bacon makes up for it.

Great breakfast and very good dinners. It's cash only but they do have an ATM inside and a bank next door. Large portions. Very friendly wait staff. This diner has been there for a while which speak volumes because anyone that lives in Florida knows, places come and go. I recommend this place!

Good food (normally) HUGE portions. However there are too many negatives. I live across the street and come here a couple times a month. Tonight was just a BOMB. We ordered the all you can eat taco bar and a super bird sammy with fries. The taco bar food was ICE COLD. When we told our waiter all he could muster was "sorry". He yelled over to some cashier lady and we overheard her saying, "the flames burned out under the pans". It does not take a rocket scientist to know that if you are serving people food that is supposed to be HOT... to watch it and make sure that does not happen. Hot food = hot.. cold food = cold. DUH. I forgot to mention... we were 2 of maybe 2 other tables eating in the entire place. We ended up ordering another sammy because my bf was so mad about the cold food. After we ate we ordered the bread pudding which is TO.DIE.FOR... well we have only been able to get it once because EVERY TIME we go back its a classic "we don't have any" even though they LIST IT ON THE MAIN MENU. REALLY PEOPLE??!?! We expected for our waiter or SOMEONE to show a little concern and comp a meal or offer something next time. Nope, no concern.. the bill for two sweet teas, two sandwiches (1.50 each EXTRA for fries) was 28$... RIDICULOUS. High prices and poor service. I will not be back.

This restaurant accepts cash only (ATM inside) and they are now open later most days of the week. I have been here several times, for brunch, and had good experiences. For the price I was satisfied with my meals and the portion size. There is usually room for leftovers, unless you tend to stuff yourself. The service has been okay, it just depends who you get. I imagine not every meal is going to do it for you here, but their menu offers quite a few options to choose from. I agree with another reviewer that there is "nothing fancy" but that is not necessarily to a fault. I am from New Jersey, where diners run aplenty. This place lived up to my expectations of what a diner should resemble, and left me wanting to return.

Great breakfast fare all day long... You'll likely run into your grandparents here on all you can eat fish fry night, or your yard guy in all you can eat rib night. Huge portions.

I really wanted to like this place, and maybe I caught them on a bad day, but it took 25 minutes from time of order till the food arrived, and unfortunately my omelette entree came out completely wrong. Our server was very professional and apologetic and even showed me the ticket where she had written my order correctly (kitchen cooked it wrong), but told me it would be "a while--maybe 15-20 minutes" to get a corrected entree (my dining companion would be completely done eating) and said she would take the item off our bill. The place seemed friendly and nice but bottom line, any place with "Diner" in its name should be able to produce an omelette correctly in less than 25 minutes, and this one could not. I may give it another try bc the staff was so nice.

2nd time here. My bf got their buffet and it was amazing. Loaded grits, potatoes au graten were creamy and yummy, biscuit and gravy flavorful and is homemade. We've had the huevos rancheros (sp.?...sorry) and it was HUGE!! Two ppl could split that. Also had the South Beach Breakfast and it was tastie as well. prices are a little high but you get a lot of food and it's really tastie. ***they only take cash***

Went to this great little diner for breakfast today. I had a huge spinach omelette and it came with home fries and toast. The portion size is humongous!!! Huge servings of everything. Decor is local fishing/beach history. Pretty cute. Cash or check only. The real winner of this meal was the swirly rye bread. So good

YES, YES, YES!!!! I am SO glad I found this place. The portions are HUGE, the food is FANTASTIC. There is so much to choose from.... The peanut butter banana french toast is like a taste of heaven.

The place was nearly empty but it still took forever (more than 45 minutes) for our orders to come out and when they did they were a notch above inedible. Our server kind of ignored us after taking our order and bringing drinks, which was fine because it became entertainment for us to predict how long before someone said something to us. Aside from our food being just generally terrible, both of the items we ordered were served with things not indicated on the menu. My husband ordered an egg salad wrap that was filled with gobs of cheddar cheese and was more like a cheese wrap with a sprinkling of egg salad. Rather than send it back because there was no mention of the cheese on the menu, he picked at it. Our server took it off the bill without even asking about it. I made the mistake of ordering an Asian bowl dish which consisted of noodles and gummy chicken and vegetables in a thick broth under a topping of very greasy fried onions. My fault for ordering something like that in this type of diner, but the menu description made me think it was something else. Also, we were there about an hour before closing and the waitstaff had already begin cleaning up vacated tables, so there was mopping, cleaning and vacuuming going on around us while we waited for our food. They apparently were cleaning something in the kitchen as well and the smells of cleaning solution and grill were really unappetizing. We'd never been there before so maybe it's the kind of place where one should stick to breakfast items but we won't be going back to find out.

Decent diner fare with an interesting menu. Apparently my grandparents and aunt have brunch here every Sunday. Food came out reasonably fast although it was jam packed. We didn't have to wait for a table, but it was so loud I basically missed 75% of the conversation. I had a crab frittata, which was not bad, but needed salt. Home fried were crisp but standard. Bread looked amazing but I didn't eat it. Orange juice tasted very fresh, contained a lot of pulp. Portions seemed pretty big.

No a/c. Omelet wasn't fully cooked eggs were still liquid. Sausage in omelet was burnt to grizzle. Biscuit tasted like alcohol...maybe they spray them with Pam or cooking spray, either the biscuit or the gravy had an alcohol flavor. Water is definitely not ran through a purification system tastes like toilet water. Catfish wasn't fully cooked and server never came back to the table. However, more than three servers went on a rampage about who was going to take us out on the floor in the middle of customers throwing tantrums when we got there. We have been here before and had excellent service with Shorty and wonderful food. We've also got to go orders that were terrible. SO you have a 50/50 chance of enjoying yourself. But if you don't, expect the blonde at the front cash register not to give a damn but be ready to take your payment, regardless of the overcharge that may appear on your bill or food that went to the trash can you didn't/couldn't eat.

    (1)
  • M G.

I've been here for breakfast a few times. The French toast varies from ethereally light to rather ordinary -- not sure why. The omelets are reasonably big and Hollandaise sauce (fairly good) is an option -- but if you get a lot of fillings, the price can add up and you'll spend more than you expected. Never had bad service. They accept only cash -- not usually an issue for me.

I usually don't leave reviews but this place was great. Everyone at our table was pleased with their choices. The server, Cory, was great. I walked in with a headache, asked her if they sold meds and she offered me some Motrin. The portion sizes are huge!! I had the shrimp and grits, delicious. So it's a cash place. So what. They let you know before you walk in the door. If you don't want to pay cash, there is a subway next door to eat instead.

  • Naria M.

They only take cash or check. Just so you know. Our visit here was fantastic! The service was quick and polite. I loved the decor they had throughout the diner. Very fishermen like. Parking was a pain in the butt. So be prepared to drive around a few times for a good spot. The food was spectacular! Such big portions! Very well cooked and put together. Three full meals came out to 45 dollars. I got the seafood omelet. My boyfriend got huevos rancheros. And his uncle (our host on our vacation) got eggs and scrapple. With how much food we got the bill wasn't bad at all. Hit the spot perfectly this early in the morning.

1st visit for breakfast. Mixed feelings about this place. Our server was Cory. She was pleasant. The turn around time from ordering to actually receiving our food was ridiculous! The portion size was great though! No credit cards but conveniently has an ATM on site. Only serves pepsi products (for those of us who prefer coke products).

Went here with 3 other people on a Sunday around 2. Buffet had already closed but they kept it open for us. The owner found out it was our first time and personally continued to bring fresh food to our table since no one was really tending the buffet for us anymore since it was closed. He was hilarious and had us all laughing and having a wonderful time. Our server was super friendly. The food was great (roast beef was my favorite part) but what really wow'ed us was the amazing service!! Seriously, they treated us like VIP and we will definately be back.

This place is the best. I've been coming here since I was 6 or 7 idk But I'm 20 now I love it so much. It's memories for me. The thing that is annoying is the rude waitress with blonde hair. Every time I go there she always is uptight I only get hash brown and scrambled. They have the best hash browns Love it. But it's nice. I love that it's my neighborhood diner

A buddy suggested we go here for lunch...I wish we had driven past it. I looked over the menu and settled on a pot roast sandwich with mashed potatoes. A little heavy for lunch but I'm sucker for good pot roast. Call me a sucker for ordering this one. I posted a pic of it. The presentation looked ok at first. The portions seemed huge and my eyes gave it a thumbs up for perceived value until I looked closer. Dark, dark brown gravy is usually a sign that the gravy wasn't made from the roast drippings. This one was made from a commercial beef base and was so salty it nearly made me choke. The pot roast was very tough, very stringy and way over salty as well. I had really wanted to like this place since it's close to where I work but alas, it was not to be. CASH ONLY here too. I don't mind cash only at the Dune Deck because the food there is to die for and the view of the ocean is fantastic but cash only here with a view of the parking lot and the frequent trains going by...not a good thing. I gave this review 2 stars based solely on our waitress, who was upbeat and polite even when serving us this sodium infused fare. I won't be back - au revoir Boynton Diner!

Where have I been before I came here? This diner lives right down the street from me and it's dangerous. The menu is loaded with great breakfast goodies and you'll explode when you leave from here. I was torn between the smores cakes and the new york cheesecake. The cheesecake was chosen. When it came out, I didn't expect a huge portion to be on my plate. I had enough for leftovers this morning for breakfast. So let's get back to the description of this meal. It consists of four mini french toast sandwiches filled with cheesecake filling topped with chocolate and caramel syrup. If this isn't heaven, I don't know what the hell it is then. I'm a debit card freak, so I made sure to get some cash beforehand since I wasn't about to pay a fee to use the atm they provided in the diner. It's cash only.

We have been coming here for many years. It upsets me to say that the diner has gone a REALLY downhill the past 6 months or so. Firstly, Kelly (the owner) please turn the air down. It is soooooo hot in the restaurant it is uncomfortable for anyone of any age. Even when it was 84 outside today is was cooler than inside with the breeze. You make enough money let your customers and staff be cool. The food is fine, generally. Portions are very large but way, way, way, to much salt in everything. They seem to turn over a lot of waitresses. The blond lady from Long Island has the worst, worst attitude. She tells you her problems of the day, makes excuses why she can't serve you properly and literally throws things at you. Hopefully, they will be able to get back on track with things and people will not go elsewhere.

So me and my buddy get the word that our meeting is set back an hour. We're in Boynton down by Federal and he says at a bit past 11:30 lets grab breakfast and I'm like dude it's lunch time and he says " they got everything!..And it's good". So we went into the Boynton Diner - my first time ever though I've lived in Boynton for a few years. I could sense immediately that it was a home made kind of place but clean not a run down kinda place. Had a bar side for single diners pretty cool Just a good vibe, not busy but a confidence put out by the waitresses like your gonna like this food and I liked that. I honesty didn't see the lunch menu highlighted by a half a sandwich and soup/ salad for 6.99 till later I just went all gut as Tal was paying and got the regular Reuben sandwich, always a benchmark. Glad I did. Very, very good moist lean tasty corn beef with just the right amount of sour kraut and a tin of dressing on the side. BIG SANDWICH. With this amazing toasted Pumpernickel swirl bread buttered, crispy and the whole sandwich was one that you don't put down even if your full you eat it. Potato salad was good too but how much can you eat at lunch right so it ended up in the dog bag. Tal got 2 eggs over easy with a football field rectangular potato string home fry, a couple fat sausages and some ridiculous side Texas toast banana bread. My stuff was 11 bucks His was like 7, a bit steep for eggs and what not but I am OK with it I will be coming back! I think these guys get it food wise and I am anxious to try other menu items. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

The eggs and bacon combo with hash browns was very tasty and just the cure for a hangover. The portions are generous and the price is reasonable. The unsweetened ice tea came in a huge cup which kept me well hydrated throughout the meal.

Very good hash brown casserole, on the other hand their portion sizes are absolutely ridiculous. So much food left over, it lasted about 4 or 5 days of breakfast. Overall taste is great !

I will never return to this restaurant ever ever ever ever again. Two of the waitresses were really rude, the food was mediocre at best but decent portion sizes. If you do eat there I suggest you eat outside because something seemed very dirty about the inside of the restaurant possibly because the flooring was carpet and it was very dark inside, very poor lighting. When we initially came in we were just told to pick a booth and apparently we sat in a booth that was taken and the black waitress came by and said with a snippy attitude "that booth is taken, that's why the plates are there". I immediately got up and asked to be seated in a different section because I had no interest in going to jail today for dragging her up and down the restaurant.

This place is a must try if you're nearby Boyton Beach and want great breakfast food! They have a huge menu and huge portions and everything I've had has been super yummy....Try the Spicy Spanish!!! The cons to this place would be the stupid cash only policy (but they do have an atm).. not the best ambiance (its a hole in the wall diner, but the do have outside seating), not the quickest service, and the worst is many of the meals dont come with bacon!!! They charge 4 or 5 bucks for a side of bacon..its ridic...but overall the food rocks for breakfast so that keeps me coming back :)

I've driven past, countless times but never went in- until last weekend. It's definitely a new favorite! Great service, huge portions, good drink prices and delicious food...can't beat it. We both had omelettes, which were huge and stuffed w/fresh ingredients. I had well done bacon- and it was! The hash browns were delicious, as was the homemade toast and their homemade hot sauce, which I must buy. The Bloody Mary was perfect and my husband's beers were cheap. Great place for breakfast/brunch...I'm hoping to still be able to get in, once the season starts.

Heads up - this place is cash only. They do offer an ATM inside, however. I am huge on breakfast. Breakfast/brunch would definitely be my fav meal of the day. Boynton Diner is right around the corner from me and abundantly satisfies my breakfast need. They have a great specials menu that has crazy twists on breakfast staples. Smores style pancakes and french toast and modern ingredients added to eggs benedict certainly keep me happy (but not healthy). You should seriously checkout that menu on their website, it is insane. Also - bloody marys and mimosas are now offered. I just wish they took cash because that honestly dictates if I come here or somewhere else that accepts cards.

Reuben Cuban could be one the best sandwiches in S. Florida. Had the Greek platter last week. Awesome.

Wasn't really impressed, what kind of diner runs out of sausage links? Then they bring me a sausage patty that was nearly black and they charge over $5 for??? Give me a break! Just got more annoyed as I sat there waiting around for the check for 10 minutes then saw the women just standing there waiting for someone to cash them out at register and I said the hell with this I ain't waiting any longer and left the money on the table.

My partner and I love the Boynton Diner and frequent it several times a week. It's great comfort food. You can get a decent meal at a decent price. Breakfast is served all day for late risers. Outdoor seating for those who smoke or have dogs in company. Service is always pleasant. Food is always consistant. Very varied menu. From sandwiches to breakfast you really can't go wrong. 2 people can eat very well for under $20. They also have a weekday breakfast deal for $4 that is awesome. My only gripe is that they don't take credit cards and they are only open till 3pm. STAY OPEN LATER! I love this place!

A little piece of home to make this former Jersey boy happy. If your opinion of of what a diner is even remotely resembles Denny's, please stay away. Now if it's an extensive menu, cheap flatware, and breakfast at a good value all hours of the day, please come in, get comfy, and enjoy. Massive portions, good prices, and really good food make this a real gem of what a good old fashioned diner is supposed to be. The cash only policy and quick selling coupons on Southfloridadines.com can be a pain, but I will gladly suffer these pains for a plate of potato pancakes or some scrambled eggs with a nice fresh mimosa.

This is the best breakfast you'll find in Boynton Beach. If you come here, your hunger WILL be beaten into submission by the enormous and, most importantly, delicious portions. Don't believe me? Order the King's French Toast (stuffed with peanut butter and bananas, of course) and tell me that dish wasn't meant to be shared with at least 1-2 other people. The Southern Benedict is another favorite of mine. It really appeals to my need for consuming buttermilk biscuits, eggs, cheese, sausage and country gravy in one bite. Definitely order some jalapeño bacon on the side as well (or substituted into any dish that includes bacon). It's even better than it sounds and once you try it, you'll wonder why every other place doesn't have this as an option. Their multigrain toast is also pretty great. If your dish comes with a side of toast, make sure you get this. If it doesn't, order some anyway. Everything I've had here has been very tasty, fresh, well-prepared and filling. It doesn't hurt that the prices are decent and the service is super-friendly as well. Bring cash!

By far the friendlist and most attentive staff I have ever experienced. Portions are plentiful and food is great. A must visit for a hearty breakfast. You won't be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I have frequented the Boynton Diner several times with in the past year. It's located in a nondescript strip mall off Woolbright and doesn't look like much from the outside, however we've found that the establishment within holds a lot of delicious and affordable "noms." Breakfast and Lunch plates cost around $8-12 dollars and for the amount of food you receive (not to mention the quality), it's well worth the price. Be prepared and come with cash on hand though, they don't take credit cards here. I'm a fan of the fried catfish and two eggs, which comes with home fries, hash browns, or grits with toast (sourdough, white, whole grain, etc) or biscuits. It's perfect for me since I'm not a huge breakfast fan, but I'm happy if I can combine it with lunch. ^_^ Oh...and the whole wheat/grain toast is AMAZING, there's even seeds and grains embedded within the toast itself (and I usually dislike whole wheat with a burning passion). Usually the wait staff is pretty attentive, the only time that service sort of suffers is during peak hours (breakfast hours on the weekend) when everyone is running about hurriedly and it's understandably harder to pay that extra amount of special attention to your tables. Overall, we love the establishment. Generous portions, good food, and affordable prices make Boynton Diner one of our favorite stops for breakfast. Now if only they took credit cards... XD
